🧭 WHAT IS IT?
(A review procedure applied to trade remedy measures approaching the end of their five-year term)
📌 Anti-dumping and countervailing measures are generally imposed for a period of five years.
📌 Around six months prior to expiry, the termination date is published in the Official Gazette.
📌 If the domestic industry does not submit sufficient evidence that the removal of the measure will lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury, the measure is automatically lifted.
A valid application must demonstrate that:
• 📉 Dumping and injury still persist,
• 🛡️ The elimination of injury is only due to the current measure being in place,
• 🔁 Removal of the measure is likely to lead to recurrence of dumping and injury.
